So there would be ian happy1, ian happy2, ian sad1, ian sad2, etc. Initially I had a clone of each sprite to allow them to dissolve into one another (and not have choppy transitions), and a different block of code for each expression. I'm not quite sure how else I would have accomplished this without livecomposite. I'd be happy to talk about some of the specific things I did once the hubbub dies down and I get a moment to catch up on some Kickstarter reward fulfillment stuff.īut to answer that specific question about livecomposite, it came in handy because of the way the sprites are configured: a layer for poses, eyebrows, eyes, mouth, clothing, hair and beard.
